Sara and the Door

My New Year’s resolution is to take chances and believe in myself. For years I have been secretly working on different children’s book concepts but never submitting them to publishers. It is a tough industry to break into and the fear of rejection can be debilitating.

The past three years of blogging about children’s books I love has been inspiring and encouraging. Learning about trials and tribulations of these authors and illustrators has taught me that dreams are not worth giving up on.

B is for Books is being reformatted so I can have more time to write and illustrate a children’s book. Once a month I will post a full review of a children’s book, while the weeks in between I will post images of books that have inspired me along the way.

Here’s to all the opportunities and adventures that lie ahead, and may we have the courage to grab hold of them.

Happy New Year!
