Kangaroo for Christmas

Happy holiday everyone! Here’s hoping that there is a stack of books under your Christmas tree this year. Keep reading…

From the same author and illustrator as The Day the Cow Sneezed, James Flora brings us Kangaroo for Christmas. The day before Christmas, Kathryn’s gift from Uncle Dingo arrives in a big box. Something brown and fuzzy moves inside but it is too big to be a cat. HOP! HOP! Out jumpes a kangaroo. Excited to show her gift to Grandma, Kathryn takes her Kangaroo to Grandma. The trip across town proves more difficult than expected. With dogs barking and honking horns the Kangaroo takes off at top speed. The more frightened she gets the higher she jumps. Once again James Flora delivers chaos on a grand scale, taking readers on a wild roller coaster ride.
